Carboxymethyl Starch CMS

Carboxymethyl cellulose starch (CMS) is a substitute for modified starch and belongs to ether starch. It is a water-soluble anionic polymer compound. Odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, heat and moisture absorption. Soluble in water to form a colloidal solution. Light and heat stable. Insoluble in alcohol, ether, chloroform and other organic solvents. It has various properties such as thickening, suspension, dispersion, emulsification, adhesion, water retention, and protective colloid. It can be used as emulsifier, thickener, dispersant, stabilizer, sizing agent, film-forming agent, water-retaining agent, etc.
Carboxymethyl Starch Used in Petroleum

Specification:
Product Name CMS (Carboxy methyl modified Starch)
Grade Industry
Appearance white or yellowish powder

Usage:
This product is widely used in petroleum, daily chemical, textile, construction, thickening, adhesive paper and other industrial fields. CMS is used in papermaking, coating, putty powder and other applications to adjust the rheological properties of coatings, water retention, CMS glue is transparent, fine, low viscosity, strong cohesion, fluidity, good solubility, and has good stability CMS is a dry strength agent for paperboard and can be synthesized with PVA to form oil-resistant and water-soluble films. High-performance CMS reactive dye compound printing paste, good rheology, high paste rate, suitable for reactive dye printing in the textile printing industry, can replace all or part of sodium alginate, used as printing paste. After printing, it is soft to the touch, clear in circles, plump in color, smooth in lines, high in color yield and good in desizing. In other fine chemical industries, it can be used as industrial auxiliaries such as thickeners, suspending agents, stabilizers, film-forming agents, emulsions, fillers, excipients, plasticizers, and enhancers.

Packaging and storage:
Use 25KG plastic-lined woven bag or paper-plastic combined bag. Can also be packaged according to customer needs. When storing, pay attention to heat and moisture, and the number of stacking layers should not exceed 20. Valid storage period is 2 years
